Chocolate Fudge Protein Shake

Chocolate is the ultimate comfort food, a guilty pleasure, and the good news is that the right kind of chocolate can actually be good for you…


1 tbsp protein powder

1/2-1 ripe avocado (depending on size)

125 ml almond milk (unsweetened)

125 ml water

2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder

4 ice cubes

3 tsp xylitol (start with 2 and add more if you need to)

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp ground flax


1. Pop all the ingredients into a blender or NutriBullet and whizz.

2. Add your own fruit and toppings!
